BICUDO & SBORGIA PROPRIEDADE INTELECTUAL is a firm formed by Lawyers and Industrial Property Agents who dedicate themselves exclusively to defense of its clients´ rights, either by representing their interests closely to several national organizations or by acting jointly with international companies specialized in the same area.
It was established in 1990 and its main activity is composed of Legal and Administrative Consulting Services in the areas of Industrial and Intellectual Property in general, and in the processing of special patent applications related to many areas including Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Drugs, Foods and Plants, PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) etc.
Our firm is technically structured to meet all of the above, always acting with the necessary dynamism and evolution for faithful compliance with the essential measures in order to guarantee our clients´ the rights.
We have carried out reports and technical assessments in order to determine the state of the art and patentability of products under development, as well as to detect eventual conflict that may generate the presentation of administrative/legal measures against third party. We may provide national and international searches to obtain full copies of patent documents, through a personal search and/or on-line database access in Brazil and abroad.
Our legal department is structured to attend any issues through specialized professionals in the area, regarding preparation of specific Contracts of Transfers of Technology, know-how, Franchise, Patent Exploitation, Trademark Licensing, etc. It includes preparation and analysis of legal reports on litigation and/or administrative actions, as well as processing and monitoring legal procedures in general, such as: Legal Actions, Notifications, Protests, Searches, Seizures etc.
